Been searching forum for a bit now and have learned that the delve on Npc buffs caps out at 140 vs 155 for capped bot buffs. I haven't been able to find any information on how the + 25% to buff bonus affects the above delves.

It's my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong)that the +25% bonus does not affect the buffs from Npc buffer. So assuming that is correct, wouldn't that make the cap between Npc and buff bot buffs even greater than the 140 vs 155 everyone uses when comparing the two? Does the 155 already account for +25% to buff bonus from gear?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to decide if a bot is necessary.

I don't know the specifics, but there is a cap on buffs (for players, not for pets). You can only increase the high level buffs by very little.

Your stats are capped at 155 bonus from buffs. Player buffs can reach that cap, NPC buffs, at this stage, can't.

The 25% buff bonus just makes it easier to reach that cap.

any player who buffs should have 25% buff bonus, (or less depending on the level of the buff) in order to cap buffs at +155. For NPC buffs you don't need any buff bonus, they do +140 no matter what, and you cannot increase this.

If you have your own baseline buffs and use NPC for specs, then you can get about +146.
