Hey guys,
I've played DAoC on and off for many years, on this laptop and on the same connection, but for some reason when I've reactivated over the holidays, I go LD every 5-10 minutes. My latency on the lagometer goes yellow then red then both P and L go red... I've tried absolutely EVERYTHING I could read about on the web (disabling firewall, checksum on network adapter, opening ports, using wired connection etc etc), and have tried calling EA support but they're absolutely useless (also I can't afford long international calls).

Could anyone suggest what might be going wrong? I can play other games online absolutely fine. I can do a ping trace thing if that would help.

Thanks for any help, as you can imagine this is incredibly frustrating as I'm just starting to see all the recent improvements DAoC's been given.

What are you using for a UI?

If you're using a custom one that may be your issue

With the latest patch alot of the custom UI's meant the game crashed

an ongoing pingplot that has run a few minutes while gaming would help...

after looking at the first picture...

Call your ISP support right now...

This even allows you to be sarcastic...

What is to see? Easy... nearly 65% of all pakets send from you get lost on the way from your modem/router to your ISP. There is something terrible wrong.

To be sure... tell Pingplotter to ping every second, unlimited numbers, and start is before you plan to play. Keep it running for at least 10-30 minutes, even when you get disconnected.

Then post this screenshot again please including the 10-30 minute plot.

Thank you =)
