Not screaming nerf, but I don't know why Mythic threw them so many bones in a single patch. What ever happened to small boosts until you find a medium, and not numerous changes that completely change how the class is played/templated?

Instead of giving them the DD proc's they should of just waited to see how the 10% spell pierce buff would effect them in RvR.

umm, they have had dd procs from styles for some time, (they just made hammer and axe more usable since most went sword for the dd proc off of the lvl 34 anytime style), and it's no diff then some other hybrid classes like VW ect. Plus their supposed boost to casting damage is a joke it's maybe 50 points more and thats if u debuff em first it's stupid all they did was give us a self pierce buff that makes templating a little easier.

Just had a nice long fight with a Thane on my Paladin, was actually really good. Was the first time in a long time I didn't just smash them. Hehe.

It's not that big of a deal this patch, like... seriously, they still only have ~2400 hit points maybe; just able to do some deeps now.

Thanes are pretty much the same but with a little better templates and endo reduction.

Hammer is now just as good as sword and axe has been for quite a while.


I like these changes, they did pretty much exactly what the players asked for (except changes to the casted energy debuff maybe).
