Hey guys, I recently have started playing daoc again. I played a long time ago but quit almost right after ToA was released so I'm basically a fresh new player. I started a Skald and I've gotten up to 29 about to level my way to Molv. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for someone brand new to the game. Like where/how to get decent armor and weapons. Also the best way to get gold. I've read a bit around the boards and I've been trying to do my own research, but everything is so spread out and some of the stuff is pretty old. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciate. For Molvik the BG gear should be decent enough. Having a template at that level will give you an advantage but not a significant enough one to worry about if you're a new player.

If you're talking about 50, there are tons of easy ways to farm gold nowadays. Most templates use SI/ML10 loot plus dragon drops/quest gear with a few artifacts thrown in. If you look up the boss mobs on Allakhazam you can see drop lists and you can throw together a template that way. It's incredibly easy these days.
