So I've decided to try to come back to DAoC after some years away, anyone that can recommend a server with decent population.
When I live in sweden I most prob will play some of my hours in the middle of night US timezones but would be nice with some info about an server with some Albion or Midgard players if is still any people out there

Okey only just downloaded the client and didnt had time to logg in but when I poked around there were you choose server It was like 10 dieffernt ywain servers or was that for the classic servers  ? have to check when I get home

Server population was dieing and to help keep server population up Mythic was clustering servers together. As the player population continued to shrink, Mythic needed to continue clustering servers but they had a huge problem, the database of old characters was becoming so huge (on the existing clusters) the database was becoming unmanageable. Mostly it does not matter which Ywain you use, as all Ywains are really just one server, but housing on Ywain 1-3 is very full so if you are thinking of getting a house I would use a different Ywain than 1-3.

Myself and some friends are also thinking about coming back with a few new players. Was able to find most everything I needed from the links above but I still have a few questions.
Do you still have to do the full raids for master levels?
I see a lot of mention of ML10 gear such as legs chest cloak and weapons. Is this different than the ml10 items that were available when toa launched? For example my bard's template uses "Astral Leggings of the Leach" that I got from running ML10 somewhere around 8 years ago.

Welcome back to all of you.
ML's can now be purchased with Glass and Bounty Points. While raids can still be done, no one ever bothers because they're purchaseable. Only ML10 is ever done nowadays.
as for old astral gear i believe that will update itself when you login
