I have been trying to get these keys to work for a few days and it's giving me a headache. I just got a corsair vengeance keyboard with the G keys and I cant even get them to be recognized as a key press in game? How do I do that? I want to put my ctrl+keys put on the G keys bc it is easier for me to press. I just want to get anything to work with the G keys, single key presses anything, just want the keys to function. I tested it in league of legends and the keys work fine there, but daoc acts as if it runs in a virtual environment and doesnt notice my key presses, I cant even take a screenshot with the printscreen button is that normal?. I press printscreen and it saves an image of my desktop as if the daoc image was a phantom image. I dont know any help would be appreciated plz, PM me or anything, thanks

Macro keyboards are against Eula if you use them in game.

Lol does my BM still exist? That was like 4 accounts and 6years ago ... Just still have the same vnboards name. I thought it was against eula to have it use multiple functions per key not the keyboard itself. ... Either way, I did run the keyboard as administrator and that didnt work, tried windowed mode that didnt work, .... I dont understand though why print screen button doesnt take a screenshot of ingame ... It acts as if nothing is on the screen and takes a picture of my desktop.

id appreciate it if you could help me out though darkpck, or anyone who knows how to fix it. It's not against eula to help someone to get their keyboard to work lol

its against VN's policy to discuss hacks, cheats, exploits, or violations of the games EULA/TOS ...

but, your right, using the keys as 1 keypress 1 action is perfectly legit... its only bad if 1 keypress does 2+ things..

have you tried qbind? or maping the keys in the keyboards software?

is daoc running as admin? cause both have to be ran as admin for them to communicate together.

Actually...Macro keyboards are not against the EULA, here's what it says:

A. Hacks, Cheats, Macros, Modifications, and/or Changes to the Game; Account "Loading"

You may not use any of your own or third-party software to modify the Game Content to change Game play. You may not use our intellectual property rights contained in the Game Content or the Software, or any information accessible through the System, to create or provide any other means through which the System may be accessed and/or the Game may be played by others, as, for example, through server emulators.

You may not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our System. You may not use in Game play macros or other stored rapid keystrokes, "dupes," "cheats" or other patterns of play that facilitate acquisition of items, currency, objects, character attributes, rank or status at an accelerated rate when compared with ordinary Game play. Also I remember there being wording out there that 1 key press should only ever do 1 action. So in theory, he can use a macro so long as it does just 1 thing, such as cast 1 spell, one time, or however many times he actually presses that macro button (effectively the same as hitting 1-0/-= on your keyboard). No more, no less. In this instance it would work no better than a keybind. He cannot use it for pressing multiple keystrokes with one button. Using the software itself is not against the EULA, but using it in ways that enhance your abilities, is. But simply stating that a macro keyboard is illegal is wrong. Using it the manner I describe, as a qbind, there is nothing wrong with that. As he is not becoming superman or getting multiple things done with just 1 key press. Nor is there a way for them to tell.

More often than not however, more people are banned for using hardware (pen caps, tape, other things to hold keys down) than for using software. Not saying to go and cheat, quite the contrary, but I am just saying that a macro keyboard is not illegal depending on how you use it. They are just extra keys. If the user uses those keys in wrong ways, then yes, it is against the EULA and can get you banned.

The default screenshot key in DAoC is the minus key ( - ) on your KEYPAD, not the PrtScn key.
