Do you trade in the old Epic and TG armor for the upgraded version (hopefully)? If so, who and where are the NPCs?

You can I believe but it has been a long time since someone has asked that question. There is also the OLD OLD epic armor, then the old epic armor that was retroactively upgraded with the epic changes that occurred again. As for the TG, I believe you could but I forgot the NPC. Again, I'm not certain 100% on this because it's been so long.

Yes on new epic armor quest. I've heard that if you have the original epic armor (the tradeable stuff) you can sometimes find a person wanting to buy it for a fair bit of money.

New epics are easy to do. I've dual logged the final mission for them in all three realms and at least twice a day when I'm on the pve side of the zonewall I see someone in region asking for people to do the last two missions.

Are the epic even worth doing now? I remember a time way back when they were pretty pointless. But I feel like I've see at least a few people in NF running the epic armor, or at least something that looks like it.

epic armor is sometimes useful in templates, not much though. Definitely worth using a piece in a CV template for ToA stats if it fits well.

TG chest piece uses Epic skin iirc.
