I am a returning player, I stopped playing a month after LoTM. And atm i cam trying to play again, but I can't connect to the server Gareth so I can transfer my characters. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? I can log onto the others servers, but the only servers I can't log into is the old classic servers...

When you get to the server listings when logging in, look for a checkbox that says "archived servers".


Check it and you should then have access to Gareth etc.

when I try to connect to gareth, the load screen to character list won't load and it ends up telling me to hit Esc to exit the game. I know its not my computer, since I got 2 other computers that won't connect to the server either.

Hey, I got this message a few times yesterday while I was trying to transfer my characters from the archived servers to the new ones.
However, I tried again after few minutes and it worked fine. My guess was that the game could not connect me while it was trying to transfer the characters.
