Hi fellow DAoCers,

I quit DAoC just before catacombs and have recently decided to come back to DAoC infact it's downloading as I type.
In my past DAoC I played a Sorc and an Infil, this time round I'm look for something a bit different.
So taking suggestions, things I am looking for in the class I want a melee character for solo RvR that is the main requirement, bonuses would be a class that is also quite tanky/has lots of surviability and also acts as a peel if i do decide to go for group RvR

Well if you don't mind trying out a different realm, I'd say Skald is your best bet. They're a solid class all round and actually a bit FOTM at present.

reaver might not be bad. I don't know much about them, its once of the classes I never played, but they just recieved charge in the last patch, so they can play many different roles now, or at least 2 roles... solo, and bomb group banelord dump.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, I don't mind changing realms. Skald sounds a good idea, the speed etc will be nice for solo.

Skald is probably the best bet. Every other "tanky" class is not required in all group make ups.

Great class solo if you can understand how to play it, definitely an awesome class if you like melee.
