It's been years since I've posted on these boards or played DAOC, but still fond memories. I'm hoping to get a thread going to rejoin the old friends and rivals from the early Tristan days. The idea is to get a consensus on what server to play on when the Guild Wars 2 server list goes live. Dunno if any really old school players still play, but I played a Celt Hero by this name and was a part of Joxor's crew (late in their run) and later Hilda's crew on Hib Tristan with the morning crowd. Hope to reunite with old friends and rivals in GW2. Post if interested.

there is a guld wars board now. i been tryin to do the same but dont care about the server we came from just want to be in a guild of ex daoc people

Our guild will be playing GW2, but we were from all different servers in DAoC. Not sure if the GW2 servers have been announced yet though.

I am not really sure if now is the time to make the decision. Once the game goes live I am very sure the DAOC community will post on this board which servers to join.

And yes WvWvW is alot like RvR. Infact GW2, the producer, himself said a lot of ideas for the game were taken from daoc.

Perhaps realm abilities will come up as a patch in the future.
