I left the game for so long and would like to ask the following questions regarding SC:


1. There used to be only 4 slots at most for imbur. I saw from the consig merchant that there are now 5 stats. Do I just add 5 gems to an item or there are some special method?


2. What are the imbur points for master piece and 99%?


3. Does the quality of gem still matter?


4. Are those lvl 51 crated armors (e.g. silksteel thick padded pants for cloth) that everyone used 6 years ago still the choice?


5. Any new stuff that was added since 6 years ago?

1. no, always 4, the 5th bonus is from crafted armors, not from gems

Don't know when you left but you might have also missed the change where gem quality no longer matters for SCing and on a blowup only the pieces being added are destroyed. Typically when I SC something I put in the 3 most valuable gems, the enchanting dust and the proc first then on the second go I add the cheapest gem.
