Roughly 5 months in to the 10th Anniversary and I'm just curious when the "year long celebration" is gonna really shine...

We've had pictish camps I guess and a few quests but can we expect something bigger?

An overhaul of old dungeons, NF Landscape/traffic routes re-worked, Old Bridges! etc.

Anything major in the pipeline or just the inevitable class balancing tweaks/nerfs

What you guys think?

Sadly, my expectations aren't high. I'll be happy with what ever we get, given the state Mythic is in.

Bridge change every year between tower bridge/open bridge, go!

They better release a press release about DAoC 2 before the year is out is all I can say. Because if they are "working" on "DAoC" all year, and this is all we've had so far... /sigh

It would be great if they restored the old dragon zones and the old frontiers just as they had been, if only to add just a little additional content. The zones are already there / done, it's too bad they are not getting used

Speaking for myself, all expectations and hope are gone.

They had a wonderful moment to take advantage of with the 10th year, they could have released plans for an Origins ruleset, or a repackaged DAoC, or gone even bolder with a DAoC2 type game. They clearly didn't want to spend the resources on any of these things. Instead, they rolled the dice on StarWars, and seem content to let DAoC and WAR coast with minor fluff and minor changes to milk whatever subs these games still have.

I file it all under 'the road not taken'. These current devs simply lack vision, or have been told, "No" by higher ups inside EA.

And GW2 is not far away, and I think all 3 games are going to take a major hit once it releases. So be it.
