Been trying to RvR in some of the lower level BGs.
I've been surprised at how little most people are interested in RvR groups. Most players I've seen run back and forth between the quest areas and the keep. Occasionally you'll see someone say "X at our Badgers" or something, but most of the time Region chat is silent.
Not sure how many times I've logged into various level BGs, seen a number of players around, asked for a group in Region chat and No response at all. Even in populated areas, chat seems silent most of the time.
Last I checked this was a multiplayer game, not a solo quest grindfest. Some of my fondest memories of any game is roaming around with a small group in RvR and having a blast. I was hoping to rekindle some of those memories by coming back to DAoC, but its obviously a very different game than it used to be.

Thid/Molvik and CV are where people have become accustomed to /xp off and staying to RvR.

Spent the afternoon in Thid, was mainly referring to that. Are all the BGs linked or is there a certain Ywain server that is more populated for Thid?

I was on my Theurg the past two nights in Thid. Last night I had 40db's in just over an hour, the night before I had 70db's in 2 hours. I'd say there was plenty of action....

There is only 1 server and we all play on it. The only difference between ywain 1-10 is for housing zones and character creation.
With that said traditionally Thidranki has always been a pvp bg but comparing it to the Thid I remember, its not. At least not like it used to be. PVP BGs are Molvik and CV, don't expect to kill anyone anywhere else. There will be xping skirmishes a long the way but that's it.
Its funny that you say this though because all you see in region in molvik on weekends is how much everyone hates that bg cus they're trying to lvl their toons and can't. You literally can't get any quests done during prime time. They didn't get the memo that Molvik is the new emain.
So QTUI lvl your guy to Molvik, get a temp and start rollin ppl.

Personally I usually just solo in all of the bgs.
Mostly because I don't know how long I'll be on. Inviting people is usually a crap shoot.
And honestly, I usually see people with names like Derpaherp and FartsMcGee asking for groups and I just /facepalm and ignore them. Why? Because 80% of the time they are douches.
And I'm just a roleplaying snob to them.
