Been a few years, so excuse my ignorance!
Best way to xp is the BG quests?
Buy everything (template/mls) with bps or glass?
Seems my custom gui is crashing. I love me some deridas, but maybe i'm S.O.L.? or is there something else i'm missing getting my old GUI (and icons) to work?

Yes durring the week and its just more fun. Weekends are tough to exp in Thid and Cathal though.
Yes basically.
Old UI's don't work anymore. Use the standard or check out the UI board and look for a Derrida's based UI.

The Bg's have the fastest Xp, they also offer Bp's to template with.
You can however go to the right level town and Xp quest in the town quest Hub, the rewards are a lesser set of armor/weapons but you don't get ganked.
Under the Dark Age of Camelot Vault banner (top of the page) you'll see User Interfaces, those all currently work on the live version Daoc.
Yes Bp's/Glass can be used to purchase MLs/CLs/Artis/Gear.

BGs are the fastest XP in general.
You can buy artifacts and master levels with glass and BPs but you'll need more than just those to make a good template.
Bob's UI has everything you'll need and has so many customization options that I don't even know where to begin.
