where are some favorite spots to duo PVE farm and whats the best class combo? shaman and warrior?


id be farming during low pop times, but i am only looking for PVE zones ONLY.

Shammy and warrior aint a bad combo.

What do you plan to farm though? Moderate grapes or bunches of yellows/ojs?

just was curious as to cozy places to just PvE farm solo with a bot these days. i know i can find out for myself so stupid question i guess


im used to two boxing with a healer/supp sm or shaman/warrior. just wondering where the hot spots are these days for people who like to farm alone. i like the thrill of a great drop but like to see consistant results too. not so much concerned with any items or coin, but just a way to spend time during slow peak hours PvE farming.

Things are a little different now with the new repeatable ToA quests. They are not very exciting and neither is the reward (a flat amount of gold/glass/reforming energies), but they are very profitable especially if you have multiple accounts.

Some things for you to consider:

- A speed song is nice when doing ToA quests.
- Sojourner group port is useful too.
- You can get NPC buffs with 2 hour duration (not for pets though) so a buff bot is convenient, but not essential.

Mid --> Healer + SM (SM's get the buffs that Shams would be able to give, instead you get barrier + crack)
Hib --> Chanter + Druid (You miss out on AF; but really there's no other option imo)
Alb --> Necro (the best farming in the game imo) + Cleric (In addition, what you miss from not having a friar; you can always get from the npc buffer now).

Mid you can also do like BD + Shaman; less effective imo. Also Cabby + Cleric. You generally want that focus shield.

With the 2 hour NF buffs I would recommend 2 casters with spec DD's or at least with average myth's and some sort of speed. So Chanter/RM/Sorc + Ment/Ani/Eld or SM/WL or Cabi/Theurg/whatever.

Mid (if not too high mobs) : shaman and rm
Alb for all kind of mobs : friar and tic
Hib farmed pretty well with : Hero and Warden

in mid the combo is played with one player.

Alb and Hib were to active played chars...
