Author Topic: Necro in RvR is an Unplayable Mess [Locked]

The necro in RvR gets interrupted constantly and needs to have some ability to not be interrupted so much, and an FP that actually casts a spell instantly and not when the next swing happens.

The FP is not instant, that is a lie. It is a pre spell casting ability that needs to wait for the next swing timer to trigger. Also, you need to be in defensive mode to see when that timer swings. Why is it this way?

Please allow the FP to make it possible to cast a spell right after you use it and not have to time it after a swing you cannot see because the pet is running towards a target when you try to use it and it slips and will not trigger the next spell. It is a damn mess. Please fix this mess Mythic.

You took away the ability for necros to interrupt with single target and multi target debuffs, but you took them away. Now, everyone interrupts you the entire fight with silly things that breaks you ability to cast for about 3-4 seconds after they hit. It's a damn mess.

There is no pet immune to CC. Stop lying, they aren't even resistant to it because they just mash the insta stun until it lands. AGAIN, FIX THIS MESS AND MAKE ONE PET IMMUNE TO ALL FORMS OF CC. It is a total mess and needs to be fixed. the class is unplayable as is.

Zombie Servant is only immune to root and mezz, not stun. Also I agree, the way FP works is pretty stupid, it takes a bit to actually get it to fire and sometimes it won't. Some kinda instant interrupt on a 15s recast would be cool. However, they need to force necro pets to be next to the owner (within 250 units) when summoning storms. Necros can put pet on stay, run into a lord room and drop storms.. pretty retarded. Also they should make it so group window targets the pet, not the shade. As well as remove shades from being able to be targetted from enemies. So if you hit nearest enemy it would target the pet, not the shade.

1. Necro pets should go back to what they originally were, no level 45 zombies.


2. The major problem with necros is pathing issues which is common to all controled pet classes, this should be fixed but probably never will be. There is nothing more frustrating than sending a pet one way and having it take off in the opposite direction around bridges


3. Most groups don't want necros because most RvR because if the necro loses its pet it forces the group to wait for the new pet to be summoned. There are just so many better classes to put in any alb group that a necro is almost never my 1st choice to play. Use it for what it does best, PLing.

I seem to remember seeing Necro's everywhere in RvR when they were first released.

No power fonts, pots, or anything like that was available to any realm. So, a necro would
pop out, cast a few spells on anything from another realm, or even low lvl mobs, gain power,
and then transfer that power to a cleric or caster.

Later, necros would duel others inside towers or keeps, and keep transfering power
to their clerics and casters.

Then came the wonders on ToA.. and the necro was made nothing but a PLing, or ML .10 class.

All what need to be fix is your brain and that your shadow can´t go more then 100 locs away from your pet! more then 100 you can´t cast anything again.
