So, I bought another copy of Sim City 4 since my old one was lost. When I went to install it, the game key that came with it didn't work despite me typing it in like 15 times. So I went online, searched for game code not working and I found a thread on some random board where there was a game key posted. I put that in, and the game installed just fine. So, my questoin is...WTF is the point of game keys if you can put in duplicate ones (and judging by the replies to him I would surmise I wasn't nearly the only using that key) and the game key that does come with the game doesn't work?

for games that do not go online any key will work at any time

as to why your key didnt work, who knows, you should call the customer service line and complain
