First thing that popped inot my head. I'm posting something so we can have a post a day in 2012.
How good are you with your budget? If you even have one...
I suck at saving unless I go into nazi penny mode and don't spend a thing unless I absolutely HAVE to, then after a while I go nutso and spend it all.

I save quite well. When I'm about $50 from buying something nice, my water heater blows up or something.

I've worked in accounting for over 7.5 years so I know all about penny pinching and the necessity of saving especially since the company I previously worked for had money troubles (I won't disclose names). I would say I'm really good at saving money, however, managing and keeping up with my check book is a little different  There are times where I get in good groove with keeping up with that stuff and I found a pretty decent app that helps keep me on track.

decent at saving but I don't tend to budget aside from putting the same amount into a different account every month for mortgage/bills/groceries.

Whenever my checking account exceeds a certain amount I shift it over to savings. That's about the extent of my budgeting. Some months I spend more but typically I save a good percentage of my income between my savings and my 401k, and could do better if I wanted.

Yeah, I could do a lot better, about once a year I dump a pile into RRSPs but should be doing more with it.
