I use LifeTank, my macro will buff but afterwards it wont equip weapon/shield and just stands there in peace mode. also, it reads that i dont have any heal kits. any ideas? i feel like ive done everything, i even did a system restore.

last I checked, lifetank support is on the lifetank boards, not the vault.

Last time I checked this was the utilities forum where people can ask for help from other people

Last I checked, it was considered proper to go to the correct place for support. If the plugin has its own support forums, then those forums would be the correct place to go to in order to obtain support.


If the plugin does not have its own forums, then of course this would be the logical next choice. LifeTank has its own forums.


This goes for every application and plugin.. AC Related or not. Chances are, if you want support, you first check the website of the product you are looking for support for. You don't come here if your Norton breaks and you need assistance. Chances are, unless you're using an illegal copy of Norton, then you would contact Norton (Symantec) in order to obtain support.


Why should plugins be any different? The only difference I can see is that we don't charge for support.

Why post on VN boards at all if turbine has their own forums?

If you're looking for SUPPORT for Turbine's software, you most certainly SHOULD go to their support forums for it.


your argument doesn't exactly hold up. There's a difference between DISCUSSION forums and SUPPORT forums.


VNBoards are a DISCUSSION forum. They are generally NOT a SUPPORT forum. They should only be used as a SUPPORT forum if a previous SUPPORT forum does not already exist officially by the application/plugin developer.

I made my post because the thread has been here a week with no answers, and thought he might be able to get one elsewhere. I wasn't saying that this is the wrong place, just that he might have better luck somewhere else. My intentions were only to be helpful.
