A plugin idea: Censore words

Just though about this, should be relatively simple, considering there have been plugins in the past (like text hack) where if you type a specific word it can change its color or format of the font...
So why cant we have a censorship plugin? A plugin that works for general chat, trade chat and all other chats where the plugin recognizes the word such as "[Edited - S word]" it would change it too "poop" or "****"
I mean this would be very useful for some of the parents that play this game or people that dont feel like listening to 10 year olds bickering in general chat.

Why not have it edit outgoing text? That way you could swear to your hearts content and you would be in no danger of getting banned for fou language!
Added bonus, those of us who don't use decal still get the benefits!

Yeah, "self control" is a hard thing to come by sometimes for people.
But getting back on topic *ahem* I think this would be a great plugin. Further I wish it would be such that you could put people on an "ignore list" (like vnignore for the FireFox browser) and it would totally block comments made by anyone in that list.
As for the other idea of outbound traffic, sure, add that too, but that is hardly the point. The point is to develop a "net nanny" style plugin.

Aye a net nanny for ac. i mean when i curse in general chat...which i do, i speak my mind, i have no self control, its a game, but i do feel bad when some mothers or little kids gotta read what i write.
and yeh i should take it to pm's, but sometimes i dont, i like being an a-hole.
