If High Res Graphics are enabled, to ensure the High Res Graphics are working you must have the "client_highres.dat" in your AC folder which is the High Res Graphics file needed for AC to enable High Res Textures, the file is only available on the ToD CD, refer here for update - http://forums.ac.turbinegames.com/showthread.php?t=27757

But . . . along came Frelorn in this weeks Update to state that the High Resolution file will be included in the upcoming ToD subscription package downloadable from Turbine. You will also be able to purchase new account keys soon.
