Almost every time I alt-tab and try to get back into AC it just crashes and I get an error message. Sometimes it will crash when i get in game but then click on El Tank. It also crashes after I've switched characters a couple times. Edit: It just crashed when I was appraising armor.


Also I go to update decal but I still get a red X next to Version one plugin surrogate. Could this be the problem??


Any help would be appreciated, this is my first time using Decal.

version one surogate is a leftover from the first version of decal... before ToD in fact, version 2 which also was from before ToD had special code to make version one pluggins work with version 2 decal


now, with version 3, NO pluggin from one OR two will work with the new decal so the surogate has been disabled on purpose, I dont see why they just simply get rid of it and stop all the dang confusion....


anyways, that is supposed to have a red X, your problem is stemming from something else and I have NO clue what.... the only thing I can suggest is to go to the decal forums and read just about ALL posts old and new about the decal alpha and follow any directions about new installs and re-installs.... maybe something will work or maybe someone has the same problem and there might be suggestions on that forum
