BACKGROUND: I uninstalled version 5e, deleted all the leftovers, and ran CCleaner. Then I rebooted my PC and installed 6b. NOTE: Version 5e was running fine without any problems, at least for the features that I use. Decal has been Alpha 6 since after last patch.
PROBLEM/SYMPTOMS: After installing 6b, the HUDs remain on the screen, whether or not they are enabled. In addition, if I drag any HUD, it leaves a white pixel trail (similar to mousetrails, except a lot bigger) which does not go away unless I minimize and restore AC to refresh the screen.
STEPS TAKEN:
--Updated my video driver to the latest Forceware version. There was no change in the behavior.
--Uninstalled both Decal and Tank, deleted leftovers, ran CCleaner again, rebooted, and then reinstalled. Still no change in behavior.
--Removed Tank 6b, deleted leftovers, ran CCleaner, rebooted, and installed 5e. With 5e back in place, the problem is gone.
