Well although this has been available via WarCry for awhile, with the release of Tings I might as well mention u can also d/l ACQlaunch from the following.

http://lod.armouredbc.com/modules/wfdownloads/viewcat.php?list=A

Single application that allows you log in quickly.

Features

Manages all your AC accounts and toons.

Auto start Decal on launch.

Crash Recovery for your bots.

option for Login protection to this application.

All account info is Encrypted.

Well i got tired of remembering usernames/passwords and which account what toon so, this is what i made to help out. If u only have one account I think u will find it still usefull for getting back IG quickly from those nasty lag deaths/lockups.

Basically I just select account, world and dbl click on toon name that i want IG. If decal is not running it will start for me. Next time thru...i only have to click on the lauch button to get back IG on same toon.

Below is from Help in ACQLaunch

In order for QLaunch to work you will

need to setup account information.

1. Click on Accounts tab.

2. Click on New

3. Enter Name you wished display for this account.

4. Enter your Turbine account information

( username and password). ( Yes its encrypted. )

5. Toon 1 thru 7 are in the order that u see them Top to Down IG.

6. Click on Save.

Repeat for all AC Accounts as needed.

To Get IG just

1. Select Account from top part of screen.

2. Select World from top part of screen.

3. Click on the Blue LOD button.

Note: If you have a check mark beside the

toon name it will log in that toon. If no toon

name is checked then it will just stop on the

screen with the Enter Game image.

Options Tab:

Login Required: Protects this program from

use by others.

If this is checked anytime this program is

started it will require one of the Turbine

Username/passwords in order to use this

application.

Crash Recovery: If checked will auto restart

on last Toon you used.

Decal Start: Will auto start decal if its not

running.

Speed Login: Turn this on as it should get

you into game faster.

Enter Game Delay: If you find your self

waiting for this program to click on Enter

Game then decrease this number.

Clear button: Do this if you wish to remove

all account information that this application

has stored. You may need to do this if the

data file becomes corrupted.

Enjoy!

A question Flipo...

Is ACQlaunch hard coded to only look for AC and Decal at their default install locations? I ask because on my system ACQL doesn't find either of them, both of which are installed on my F: partition.

When I start ACQL I get an error message asking if I have denagent.exe, and when I click on the launch button I get another error message asking if I have the new version of aclaunch.exe. The end result is that it won't launch either AC or Decal.

Heh... It looks like it might be a nice program, but if it only looks for AC and Decal in their default install locations it isn't going to be of much use to me (or anybody else like me that prefers to keep games and add-on plugins, utilities, etc. entirely separate from "Program Files".

I just added under option tab a way to manually set them.

Just click on button to right of 'Override Location to ..' and browse to find the exe.

See if it works for you ok now.

Hmmm I guess I should mention by default ACQLaunch will auto install itself into 'Program Files'.

If u can live with that it should work for you now.

That did the trick.

As for installation of ACQ, I would much prefer if you'd change the installation so that we can also choose the location of where ACQ is installed. I really don't like having game programs and utilities in "Program Files".

Nice program. For starting AC, ACQ and AC Dual Client do exactly the same thing but ACQ is faster loading with a simpler UI, which makes ACQ a better choice for me. That's because I don't do dual logins or AC in a window, so I have no need of the extra functionality built into AC Dual Client. I'm a firm believer of "Simpler is Better".

I'll wait until I can choose my install location.

Well u didn't have to wait long. so..

If you want ACQ to run someplace other then its default.

Download current version.

Create a directory named "Flip" wherever u want it to live at.

Unzip and put exe in the "Flip" directory.

run the exe.

Should be set to go.

Enjoy and don't tell M$. lol
