havent loged in for about 1-2 months and i tried today and i freeze after i try to log into a server.

If your problem isn't with Decal or an ACUtility, then you're in the wrong place.


Technical issues with the AC Client itself (without 3rd Party Software) is better asked on the Turbine forums, or by contacting Turbine Support.


I've personally never heard of the issue you're describing, and all I can suggest is to possibly uninstall AC and re-install it with the latest downloads from the Turbine site.

you need to open/forward UDP ports 9000-9013 to your computer from the router/firewall

First off... There is no such thing as Black Screen of Death...


Blue Screen of Death is a Windows DOS based screen that informs the unfortunate user that a catastrophic failure has occured...giving the option to hit a key or ctrl alt delete to attempt to restore normal operation... blah blah blah...


What you are experiencing is...


Need for updated Video Drivers...


Need for system restart because of corrupt Video Drivers...


Need for shutdown of extraneous programs that are utilizing too much memory resources when attempting to run AC...


After system restart...


Do Not!:


Open or start any other programs, Browsers, utilities or video or graphics related objects like Windows media player...

Sounds like bad video drivers to me - make sure you have installed all your windows updates and video drivers are up to date
