I installed hush and agentZ, ran the utility and tried to log in. As soon as my toon appeared I crashed to desk top. I turned hush and agentZ off and was able to log in fine.

Hush is fine, it is agentZ that is the issue. I log in fine with hush but with agentZ I get the crash.

Myk, AgentZ needs to be updated for the current version of Decal. Before you ran my utility, it was automatically disabled because it had an invalid surrogate. The surrogate it listed has been disabled since ToD, but prior to Alpha 7, Decal had just ignored the fact that the plugin said it required that surrogate. In Alpha 7, Decal disables any plugin that lists an invalid surrogate.


As I'm writing this, I realize that because this utility has the risk of enabling broken plugins that were auto-disabled, I'm going to remove it. What it was doing wasn't directly causing errors, but it's better to just let plugin devs release new installers for their plugins than to have a utility to automatically remove the surrogates.

Dig, your util is a good idea, but make sure it only removes the reg keys for known updated plugins.


Many installers don't remove the old surrogates keys so a util to do it is handy.

Edit to add...the plugin shows up fine in Decal's list...but doesn't show up in game.
