Drakier has a message board for Dual Client support at http://acdualclient.drakier.com/ That might be a good spot to try.

I personally have no problems with mouse in two clients.

It doesn't sound like it's a ACDC issue.

Your mouse, for all proactical pusposes, should work as if your 2 (or more) ac programs as two different programs.

Did you have to do something for your mouse to work the way you want it with AC? If your mouse software has to point toward the ac folder (doubt it) then you might be out of luck. Most likely, you have something in your ac stuff that relates specifically to your mouse.=. you just need to copy that to your second account.

Edit: Does your mouse work on BOTH account if not running ACDC?

mouse works fine besides when I try to log into the /2 client, then it doesnt... Im not running special software and have used Dual client on this computer before ToD, with the same mouse, I even tried changing to an older mouse, with a ball. Nothing has worked thus far.

What if you ignore ACDualClient for a minute and ONLY try logging in the /2/ path manually (run the ACLauncher.exe program from the /2/ path).

Don't run the original path at the same time.

I want to determine if it is something specific about the /2/ path, or if it is something about the running of 2 acclient.exe programs.

I'd start out by deleting the /2/ directory, then clicking the Clear Paths button in ACDualClient.

Restart ACDualClient to start the First Time Setup, but use the "Basic" setup. Point the path to the default AC path and leave the rest of the options default. When it gets to the Account setup, click Finish as you don't need to enter the account information again since it wasn't cleared.

Hopefully then it will copy the "Working" files over the "Non-working" ones.

Let me know how that goes.

seems VERY odd that it would only happen when you launch the /2/ path.. and even when you do it manually.

Seems like it would be something inside the /2/ folder, but if /2/ is an exact copy of #1 then it wouldn't make sense that #1 works and /2/ doesn't.

I'd keep looking in that direction and testing things out.. don't forget you also have a preferences ini file in your My Documents folder somewhere.

I'd maybe try making an exact copy of the main folder and call it /2/ and then manually launch /2/ again. Something is amiss.
