I haven't found any postings on this, but I didn't go back very far. When I switch to another toon on the same account and sometimes on a different account, and then while on the second toon, I get an application error message that after I click "OK" it drops me to desktop. The error pops up when I go thru a house portal or when I click on something in a house chest. It seems to be happening on a regular basis. If this is already known then I will just deal with it and wait for a fix. If it is new I will get more specifics and create an export. Anyone know if this is a known problem or not? At a guess, I'd say low memory, on vid card or on main (esp with errors on opening house chests as it suddenly gets info on a lot of things at once - even with 2G ram 256mb vid card, my chest sometimes takes a while to "fill up" with what's in there)

Depending on the EXACT issue.. you may need to delay more between character logins and that is a known issue, and plugin related.


If it just happens while playing, I'd agree with Kleenex and it's probably video card related.

It just happened again. Had AFK, out of game for 30 min. Open the chest, clicked on a few items arranging salvage for tinkers, click on an item in chest....bingo. Only ingame for maybe 5 minutes. Here is the export....thanks for the help.

I'm leaning toward a plugin problem personally...


another thing I noticed quickly glancing at the export is that your "Protected Storage Service" seems to be set on Manual rather than Automatic. I'd consider setting it to Automatic to ensure that it starts correctly with the OS.

IF you could turn on a few more plugins during a BETA testing of decal that is known to require lots of memory for graphics I'd wager the problem happens even faster.

You either have


1. Way too many plugins running at the same time with "only" a 256MB card


2. There might be some kind of *conflict between 2 (or more) of those plugins


3. One (or more) of the plugin is not running right.


I'm betting on #1 myself. Might try not running all those at once?
