Alpha 7 installation problem

I'm not very good with computers & when I attempt to install Alpha 7 I get this error message:
"An error occurred while installing system componets for Decal 3.0 Alpha. Setup cannot continue until all system componets have been successfully installed.
Component Microsoft DirectX 9.0c has failed to install with the following error message:
"An internal error occured."
The following components were not installed:
- Visual C++ Runtime Libraries (x86)
The following components failed to install:
- Microsoft DirectX 9.0c"
Any help would be great.

The best place for support is the Decal boards http://forums.acdev.org/phpBB2/ first search and see if your issue has been asking and answered before. If not do a post folllowing thier instructions, you will most certainally *REQUIRE* an decal export if you post there (or even further here)

I dont think he will be able to post an export when he can not even install decal
