Having trouble DLing patch

I got the client patch but when I get to the update part the blue thingy never starts and then after a minute or two I get the lost connection to the server screen.
I am on the road at the moment but I have cable connection where I am so that shouldn't matter.
I HAVE NOTHING TO DO OUT HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE! HELP ME!!!

Have you checked your firewall settings per Turbine's FAQ entry on it?
