I've looked through the boards and haven't seen this one, so...

I can get my 1st toon in game, run around, everything is cool.

I exit, try and log another toon in, screen goes to desktop, say ACclient had to shut down and/or cannot initiate D3D.

Anyone seen this before?

Thanks!

Log out.

Sit on your hands for ten seconds

Log in next character.

It takes a while for the plugins to shut down after logging out a character. If you try to log in a character too quickly, it will crash on you.

Thanks Yula, but it does it with no plugins also. Took them all off to see which one was affecting AC. The hunt continues.

Did you try sitting on your hands with just Decal and no plugins? Like most annoying crash problems, there no one single suggestion will magically stop crashes for everyone.

I crash once in a while even without any plugins or Decal.

Khloro,

Didn't see a post on Decal forum so no complete error message or export to nose through. Maybe it's a plugin bug causing it. *shrugs*

But Yula is right. This has been going on for a long time. There is no quick fix. Waiting a bit between character changing helps.
