I used to place AC 4+ years ago, and have recently come back. I used Decal way back then (mostly just for Sixth Sense). Anyhow, I was wondering if one of these new plugins does similar things to what Sixth Sense did, or if someone is keeping Sixth Sense alive?

ElTank, has a TrackingUI feature in it, if you enable that, it will perform many of the features of SixthSense.
I am in the same boat as you, stoped playing in 02 and just started again last month. Its a big learning curve with all the new features functions, and uber armor.

Sixth Sense was my favorite plug-in of all time! I was incredibly sad to see it get left by the wayside 
The closest replacement I've seen is the ELTrack feature in ELTank but now that ELTank has been abandoned as well (ELGarL seems to have taken down his authentication server which breaks half of ELTrack's functionality. Nice going ELGarL! Thanks a LOT man! I used to love you... Now? Not so much...) I find myself in the same boat as you looking for a halfway decent Sixth Sense alternative.
I'm going to give Alinco a try and see if it's any good.

I have never tried Alinco, but Find It! works well for me.

I love Alinco now that I've lost ELTrack (those claiming it still works without the Authorization Servers must only be looking for salvage, anything that has to be fully ID's gets missed now). The only thing I now miss from ELTank is the ability to see how much exp I'm getting from each kill. ELTank did that by adding it to the end of the kill message "  ou killed some nasty critter and gained x exp." Other than missing that one little thing Alinco = tEh uB4r!

Both AgentZ and Buffme will give you how much xp each creature is when you kill it.

Actually I now realize that Alinco shows the exp for each kill on the HUD rather than with a text message.
