I know that there used to be the ability to run an actool macro or something that allowed to run a multi-charecter portal bot system. Anyone know if there is any that works currently? I have a spare account that I was thinking about setting up for this.

Not really workable from a plugin standpoint because plugins don't have access to the character selection screen. Only Filters and Services have access to that screen. A plugin and filter combination could be workable, but it would take a little effort. Nothing like that currently exists that I'm aware of.

The character login stuff would be similar to what I have in ACDualClient for the Character Logins using the ACDC Core Filter to select a character and log it in.

Fluff-N-Buff AC Tool macro used to handle this, but it hasn't been upgraded for almost 2 years now .. think the last update was Jan of '05

Mind you, all previously released multi-character portal systems were ALL done through ACTool. There have not yet been any Decal plugins which do this for the aformentioned reason.

Not that it's impossible, just hasn't been done yet.

The Golden Elms of Harvestgain developed one for their own internal use. They had the first multiple character for pay portal bot located in Uziz long before Decal and plugins became common. It is private and has never been released. Not only did it allow you to access every portal tie for all the characters on the account, it did all the portal gems too.

I believe it was fully operational for Throne of Destiny. The folks that ran Portal Vendor at the mansion no longer play AC. You could try contacting the clan leadership and see if they might be willing to share the code.

I wrote one of these for Skunkworks a long time ago; you old timers you may remember the multibots running at the Sanctuary on Solclaim. Anyway, I am running two instances of the bot for the next couple days to see if there are any problems. If not, I will post the most recent version of DibBot (2.05) to the skunkworks userware script repository by the end of the week.

You can download version DibBot 2.03 from userware at http://skunkworks.sourceforge.net/ , but it has problems supporting more than 5 characters on your login screen unless you edit two lines in the script; there is a post on the skunkworks forum at Cam's site http://www.cameroncole.com/forums/index.php explaining how to do this.

This script casts both primary and secondary portals for all chars on an account, buffs, checks comps, can use portal gems for the starter towns, logs when someone drags a creature close to you, logs activity, chat, and gifts etc etc

Ahh.. yeah, that's the one that I was lookin for. I saw another allegiance running it sometime over the weekend, and couldn't remember the name of it. Thanks for reminding me.
