El tank had the scroll lock key set to force targets of choice. Does Life Tank have this? If not can you add it?

I've always heard of this, but never seen or used it... what does it do exactly?

And... I'll add it to the list, but that doesn't mean it'll ever be implemented, or even attempted honestly. But we'll see...

on eltank, you could press the scroll lock, and if you targeted a critter that would normally be 12th on the list to get attacked, it would attack it till it was dead

Haven't tested this but, did you disabled "Attack vulned targets first" (which doesn't work anyway) and "Auto-switch to best available target during combat"? They're in the Macro -> Settings -> Targeting tab.

let me explain how it worked in el tank. when the scroll lock key was pressed it allowed the user to manually select whatever ever target they desired. The macro would then resume back to normal unless of course you manually selected another target to kill. This is meant for ACM combat for the user to decide what to kill next. It would also override the range/attack settings, so you could attack with the macro whether or not it was in the range of the macros set distance.

I used this feature in Eltank constantly.

At VoD, I would set range real low, and set attack mode to custom.

Custom tab would have yeild vulrn and fester. Select the virindi from the pack of shadows at the edge of radar and it would cast those spells.

Indoors I also used it when getting mobbed because I could keep my back to the wall and target what was in front of me.

Basically I used eltank in semi-auto mode. I have tried to do the same with Lifetank but with limited success. I actually asked about this on the LTxi boards a wile back too. lol
