Hi guys,


Wrote a program a bit ago that analyzes grammar on ToD style log files (with the <\Tell> tags all over 'em) and can extract any of 24 checkbox categories to an output text file (overwrite, or new), removing tags in the process.


I tested with couple megabytes of my bot's log files, not a lot of actual hunting or questing at all, so I'm sure I've missed some messages (I know I've missed combats - slice, corrode, etc., I'll revisit this). Unrecognized tokens usually trigger the Emote classification. Magic casting is speech, not Magic classification (yet). Future plans may include a list of search for terms, extracting at line nnn for nnn lines, maybe some combat analysis.


Reading ToD log files drove me bananas, so I wrote a program to help me. Maybe it'll help you.

Love the program. Think you could figure a way to make it save your settings so I don't have to uncheck all this crap to extract?? Other then that a great program. Helps out alot.

Sure thing. v0.1.98 writes ac_elf.ini file in AC installation directory upon extract, reads on startup.

Updated to version 0.1.148


Key feature was to combine a directory of .txt files into one file (not necessarily exclusive to AC use). Resulting file can then be treated as one gigantic log file (I tested with 75mb).


Other than that, little better recognition of stuff. Put an "everything else" check in for entries not otherwise classified.


Suggestions welcome, I check this thread every so often.
