This version of CraftBot has a number of new features and bug fixes. It is also a required upgrade to appear on the CraftBot website.

Paraduck, thank you for all the work you've put into this plugin. I've been running it for my allegiance and it runs almost flawlessly. I'm excited to install this new version, and wanted to just thank you for continuing to improve this already great plug-in. agreed great plugin.. was wondering if it would be possible to make it compatable with buffbot plugins ? ive tried it a few times with castaway and while the tinkerbot works fine, the buffbot gets stuck attempting to go to combat mode to cast and resetting to standing idle mode over and over again when attempting to buff another. appears to be some kind of conflict. cant wait til u get the in game xml thing put in it would make it alot more user friendly 8).

I have no plans to add buff bot functionality (meaning that the bot will buff people), sorry. Don't use Castaway, LifeTank, Mule Trade It!, or other "automated" plugins with CraftBot.


OTOH, if you're asking if the bot can use a buff bot in order to buff itself, that was added with the latest release.

if there a command-line for disabling/enabling both craftbot and castaway:


a person could easily run both a buffbot and craftbot plugin. They'd just have to do a small bit of coding to make a go-between interface. Such as using ACTool.


eg. you @tell bot, craftbot. command disables castaway, then enables craftbot.

from that point you use craftbot as per usual.

you @tell bot, buffbot. command disables craftbot, then enables castaway.


Of course you'd have to add in some checks like whether or not the bot was still in use, also possibly add a timer to maybe default to one or the other after so long. plus modify the help for each plugin so that it told you how to use the interface. etc.

While technically true, it's not something I will support. (For instance, your buff timers, etc. will reset.)

only want to run the one bot so i guess he'll just be a buffbot. would have been better if he could do crafts as well.

If you use the ACTools Mapping application and take screen captures of different points you could use in your script(for example with Craft Bot app. open, with Castaway open). This may be a little mor involved than you want to get into but would work for your purposes. Using the mapping tool you could use the mouse points x,y to open the apps and mouse points to turn them on/off then close the app. Like I said this would be much more involved scripting but would work.
