Castaway missing spells

Castaway occasionally is missing a spell; like not casting strength when buffing someone. Or not banning completely when using fullbane.
Is that unusual and should I reinstall castaway or is it common.
If common is there a suggestion as to what to do.

Make sure turbo mode is off.
Adjust the casting speed using "/bot delay {mSec}" (default 2000)
You will have to issue the command each time the bot is logged in,
or use StartMeUp http://www.buwahaha.com/Plugins/StartMeUp/

This occasionally happens, and it come from one of two things:
1. You could have turbo buffing enabled. The plug-in will only spend so much time trying to cast a spell before moving to the next one. Just unclick this box.
2. Your connection/computer/ISP could have missing packs from the client. Your computer sent 'cast strength' but the server never recieved 'cast strength'. This happens through burps in your connect, lag, slow processor speed, windows shifting memory around, etc. The best thing you can do here is to optimize your computer like not having other programs running while castaway is in use, run only the castaway plugin, etc.
Castaway shouldn't be the problem since it mostly runs through a list of buffs to cast and if it's on the list - it should cast.

If you have Turbo Buffing enabled, raise the Retries before failing setting to 2x to 3x the current value.

I've never updated StartMeUp for ToD (didn't think anyone was using it), so it won't work currently.

Thx for your ideas. turbo is off. Please on the following suggestion, give me an example of parameters to plug in. I not quite understand what you mean so if you give an exact suggestion can try it.
this is the statement I could use help with by plugging in suggestions:

Helped a lot to understand about the delay. But I don't know how to find out what is the current delay before I fuss with the delay. Anyone know where to check that. Thx.
