I requested the source for a program. It's not an illegal program, nor a hacked/edited/modified version.


And it's AC utilities related.

That kind of program has been forbidden for quite some time by Turbine. Please read the ToS:

If you still can not find the relevant part of the ToS let me know. Hint look under "Restrictions and Conditions of Use" - first paragraph.

UAS itself is illegal on these boards... in relation to AC or not.. this is the AC Utilities board, hence UAS is illegal here.

Churi-ya is correct, I didn't state what I wanted it for.


In fact I have no contract or agreement with Turbine, therefore I'm bound by no EULA or TOS. I'm not a customer of theirs. We parted ways long ago, however I am the owner of a few sets of AC CD's. I own those and I'm permitted by law to use them in any way I like, so long as it is for personal use only and will not affect or influence anyone else. Oh, and so long as it's not for a criminal venture.


Also that TOS you linked are only applicable IF you access their websites and online services. I 'm not a customer and therefore do not accept their TOS.


Lastly, the ONLY EULA which COULD apply would be the EULA which comes on the CD's. That is actually a license agreement between myself and Microsoft.

Well, the fact you posted on the AC Utilities board (AC being Asheron's Call, being Turbine, obviously) implied what your intentions might have been.


The Vault Network's Terms of Service also includes a line that says the TOS of the game being discussed is also enforcible on our boards. Turbine has stated these types of programs are against their wishes, so in turn will not be allowed here.


It also states the Managers and Admins of the Vault Network can decide to allow certain third party apps to be discussed or distributed. If I am not mistaken, this falls under any and all of these above terms.. if you play or not, or accept the TOS of Turbine or VN. You're posting here says you agree to both terms, affiliation or not.
