Verified it intentionally a couple of times. If you have Detect Portal enabled, and go somewhere where there are several of them, BOOM, booted for CoC Violation.
Oh, and on what I can only assume is a directly related note (the Hotfix - and all this stupid booting going on) Game is laggier than I have seen it in at least 3 years.

I'll drop into subway and see but I didn't have a problem with mine and I have detect portals on.
*edit - ran through Subway, jungle shadows & various towns all with multiple reporting portals, no boots for me.

It's very unlikely that a group of portals will boot you as the portal detection does
not issue any server requests.
I don't have the source anymore of the public released Alinco but it is easy to check,
If you select a portal with the identify panel closed and do a @test command
the property hasiddata should be false.
Just for a test I logged on for the first time in like 5 weeks or so
I did run Alinco in ucm mode for 5 hours and looted 800+ corpses with no problems at all..
ps. this version of Alinco with auto navigate and combat has not been a public release

All lag free on FF last night for me... only time I noticed any type of lagish/slowdown was portaling into yaraq (hometown) or other large area with portals. I think it might have something to do with portal IDing as mentioned above so I turned it off. Lag is definitely the best it has been in 3 years for me... I run alinco, goarrow, minimap and skunkvision. Thanks

Ditto on the above posts. I use the public release of Alinco all the time. I jump into a portal intense area this morning and had no problems with normal spam of portal info in the chat.

I use ALinco, GoArrow, Alinco Buff, Quest Timer and Find It.
I have it set to detect portals and have not had any problems.
Since the fix things are great - except when my antivirus program decides to update - how it knows I am in colliseum I don't know. 
I run Windows XP.

I have since turned off any/all features with the plug-in I do not absolutely need. Haen't seen any issues since.

I've been running the latest version of Alinco and Alinco Buffs after the hotfix and hotfix fix and have had no CoC boots at all. Even went to market once and people were summoning portals in the main room like they were being paid to do it. There were so many I couldn't even see where I was going. I didn't get booted and didn't even lag.
