When installin decal i keep getting this message:

Could not open key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Class'\CLSID. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

I have tried deleting/reinstalling both decal and .net framework.

Anyone have a clue how I can clear this up?

Are you running Vista? If so, try installing/running it in administator mode.

No Vista, I'm running windows xp.

Decal used to work for me but when I made my ac come-back and tried to update to the newer version is when this started.

I know this may sound like a redundant question ..

Does your user ID for Windows XP have administrative permissions?

Lol, I really have no clue, but I'm guessing so being this is the main user. I don't have problems installing any other program, just decal.

It better be.

Like I said before, it worked just fine about a year or so again.

But when I tried to update it; it gets about half way through the install and then I get the error message.

Today I have tried the clear registery from decal, I completely uninstalled anything to do with .Net Framework and Decal and and decal applications but no success.

The only thing I can think of at this point would be to completely erase the comp and start clean
