I'm running two clients right now with decal and everything works fine until I select any of the plugins on the 2nd screen which is followed by the client crashing. I'm using ACDC and the only plugins I have running are lifetank.

I have encountered the same problem. The proper place for this topic may be Drakier's ACDC site. Drakier is very prompt answering questions there.


In my case, using the process of elimination, Drakier felt the problem was with Decal. He didn't come right out and say it, but I got the impression he felt Decal was a resource hog and that was the majority of my problem. I personally felt that even though I have a 256 Video Card, a 2.8 CPU with 4 pipes, and 2 meg of ram, my system was just not able to handle everything. I have High Speed cable and when it slows down, I run into the exact problem you describe. When the connection speed is not slow, my only problem is slow frame rates running 2 clients.

ive never came across this problem, very weird

i run 2 accts, macro at same time, on a 4400 core duo 2.0ghz, with an ati x850xt 256g, and 1gig of ram


mine runs jus fine, for atleat 20-30hrs then i have to restart comp cus it gets soo slow

Ya i just feel that it's not the computer since it can run both clients fine it just crashes when I click anything in the decal bar

IF you disable everything except the default filters and the Decal Hotkey System plugin, does it still crash?


(when I ask that, I mean in both clients)


My concern is with a possibly "concurrency" issue. Some plugins may not like to be run more than once at a time.

i run 3 clients on my computer with pretty much the same setup as deltas,well his is a little better,but i have no problems except with 1 certain plugin now which leaves my mages standing there pointing their wands till they die.
