I have been back on AC for about 3 weeks now and enjoying it . I got some problems today when trying to install decal for some hunting tasks. Actually I couldn t get pass the "windows installer" pop-up.


The decal installer (got from acheaven, lastest version: alpha8, 2.9something) tries to install directX 9.0c, but it looks like my directX is up to date. The installer downloads some files. I then get a msg from the system saying decal is some unknow program trying to install itselft, then a windows installer pop-up comes, and suddenly everything stops, nothing left at, nothing installed, no files copied.


I have lastest directX (windows says I have), framework .net 2.0, windows installer 3.1, of course AC, and no antivirus. Is my installer corrupted ? I tried to find other download sources but couldn't find. Is this a know problem ? Didn't got the feeling so after looking around on these forums.
