AC crashes when.....

When I have decal on and logout to character screen and try to switch character I get a acclient error and the game crashes. So to switch characters with decal on I have to quit the game and restart it. Anyone else run into this problem or how to fix it?

search the forums, this has been discussed many times.
Basically, its a turbine error and no one can fix it but them.

Ok I went back 3 months and didnt see anything about it but will look some more thanks.

It's not Turbine's error, it doesn't happen when you don't use decal.

I noticed this problem when I use lifetank which I don't very often.

I seem to remember someone suggesting awhile back that it's because AC/Decal hasn't quite unloaded your toon (or plugins) from the world and if you try to switch too quickly you get those crashed, even while sitting on the selection screen.
Try waiting a few more seconds before picking another toon. I want to say this happens even without Decal on, but I could be wrong.
