I recently switched to a PC with Vista. AC, Decal, and all the plugins I use seem to be functioning normally except for 'The Deep'. It displays fine, will keep track of the number of golds I have, and allows me to "target" The Deep for turning in the golds, but when I attempt to start the golds transfer, it just sits there doing nothing. I've uninstalled/reinstalled it without any change.


Has anyone come across this issue, and if so, is there anything I can do to correct it? I'd appreciate any assistance!


I forgot how much I hate manually turning in golds & returning tokens!

Did you map your "Give Selected" key? I can't remember if I had to do that or not.

Nope, I have yet to map a key to "give to selected" (or whatever the actual phrase is). I'm hoping to identify a fix so that this plugin functions as designed for me again, otherwise I certainly will be mapping such a key.

I think for it to work properly, you HAVE to map the "give to selected" key.... Unless I am mistaken, I believe that was the point he was trying to make (in the form of a question).


Try mapping that key and see if it works (although I'm not sure what the plugin would be looking for unless it's using the QueryKeyMap). Regardless, attempt to map it and see what happens... make sure that the guy you want to hand the items to is selected though as to avoid handing items to the wrong person.

I don't think that is the problem because it does not use that.


I did not have it use "The Deep" NPC by default so that it could be used to put golds in a chest, or transfer them to another character quickly.


The GUID of the NPC changes when the landblock goes dead.

Therefore, when you get there, select the NPC and hit the button that says ? Target current selected.

The plug-in will grab the NPC guid and put its name in the selected box.


You should be good to go then.

Fortune Hunter can hand in golds do the deep on Viss, it's probably fairly easy to modify the config file for dark isle trophies, although I don't hunt DI myself.

I have used this plugin extensively for a long time on an XP system without any problems. I never had a key mapped for 'give to selected' and it functioned without any issues. I always manually selected The Deep NPC, hit the "?" key, etc., and am doing the same procedure now but it doesn't respond. The only thing that has changed is that I'm using a new PC with Vista, which is why I assume the problem was tied to Vista.


Since nobody else seems to have run into this, apparently I'll just have to deal with it. I guess I'm just lucky this is the only AC issue I've come across.

I merely use a mapped 'Give selected' key myself, it works well for me.
