It's been two years, and it looks like the development of most things stopped back then too... My question is about AC Explorer.


Can anyone verify if the map files from Warcry are updated at all these days?

Also, I remember back in the day - a plugin for decal that basically let you search the ACExplorer data ingame and find ways to get places. What was that called? Does it still exist?

You're thinking of Oracle of Dereth. GoArrow does it everything it used to, and a whole lot more.

They're decently updated yes, sadly things that are taken out of the game are not marked as 'retired'.


Since the death of ACSpedia, this is the only way to update your ACEx.

Sadly, the 'tracking' options are no longer available in ACEx (to my knowledge) however if you need to get a route from ACEx to in game, simply get the route in ACEx, right click and 'Copy list to clipboard' then paste it into your chat window, it will show up as a string along one line.


It's still one of the best ways to find something, even above Go Arrow.

For creature tracking you may also want to check out http://beta.trophyhunteronline.com/

And ACMaps now allows you to search maps based on the creatures that spawn inside (though it is fairly out of date for the dungeons that were upgraded last year)

I never knew about the "Copy to Clipboard" option. I always found it annoying that I couldn't highlight the list and then "Ctrl C" followed by "Ctrl V" in my chat window.


I learned something new today! Time to go home... Wait! I'm already home...

I managed to come across Arrow over the weekend and it's amazing at what it does! I'm quite impressed.

Since coming back I've been using something called two rocks traveler or something. It seems to get the job done, though perhaps not a graciously as older plugins did.
