Alright so I downloaded version 7.2.2. I double click the executable file, get a DOS command prompt popup and then the ACDualClient Installer pops up asking me for an installation path. I pick a path ( and I have also tried using the default C:\Program Files\AC Dual Client).


I get an "Copy error!, Please try again..."


I check the target installation folder and there is "ACDualClient.ini" and "ACDualClient.msi".


I try the .msi and it tells me that the installation package cannot be opened.


I am using Windows XP Home Edition, I have NET Frameworks and the VB package all isntalled and Decal and AC are both closed.


Has anyone else ever experienced or seen this error?

Edit: Nevermind, I think I misread your question.


Make sure it is not asking you where Asheron's Call is located when it asks for the path.

are you logged in as administrator and do you have access to modify/create files in that path?


technically, you can just run the MSIonce it is extracted, but if it isn't opening, it could be corrupted due to not being copied or something.


I've never had this issue personally. Perhaps you should also try re-downloading it in case your download is corrupt.
