I've been googling and reading posts and I have not yet found any solution. I am running Windows Vista 64 Premium with 8 GB of RAM and was looking to play around with AC again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled decal to a c:\games folder, right-clicked run as administrator then updated, logged in with AC by right clicking and running as admin (also installed in C:\Games). I'm pretty sure I've downloaded all .net and other packages I've read I should download, and tried that winsock fix posted in another thread.


Any other ideas?

Well I'm not sure what fixed it since I changed a few things at once, but one of them was using the alternate injection method in the options for decal. Anyways it shows up in-game now.
