So obviously most things have been a pain in the rear on my new laptop with Vista, but this one I don't understand. I got AC working fine, and had NO problems at all getting decal and even LTX working, but then I tried to get Dual client working....

So I thought I understood how pathing works, but apparently not because I set up two completely different paths yet right before the Connecting and Patching screen, I get the error message "there is a client already running on this machine. It is not possible to run two cleints on the same macvhine. Please use the already running cleint." I do not know if vista is responsible or if there was some error in the automatic transfer of files from AC folder 1 to 2, but I would love to figure out this issue so I can at least toy with the more than are sure to come once I actually get IG! Thanks in advance for the help, and sorry if this has already been answered.

I am not sure how ACDC works, but in the early days of dual logging I used to have 2 registry files for switching between paths. If ACDC does it the same way registry permissions might be the problem.

You might also want to try switching between hooking and polling - if the registry is not the problem that might help.
