I need some help setting up Decal. I keep getting an error message while setting up the Decal file from http://decal.dreagis.com/ . I try to do the typical install and first it says "Error writing to file: Decal.Interop.Core.DLL. Verify that you have access to that directory. I press Retry and then it says "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2350."


Could someone tell me what this means and how i can possibly fix the problem?

What OS and where are you installing it to? If you are running Vista, be sure to install it to somewhere other than the default directory.. ie c:\games

I'm running XP and trying to put it in C://Decal

Try putting it in c:\Decal

is he also running into that issue of trying to install from a website, instead of dl'ing and then installing? sounds like he could be from the way he explained what he was doing.

Alright. I fixed the above problem by selecting a custom install and didn't install the Framework files. It was up and working yesterday. I tried to DL a few more apps and now it's not working properly again. It's loaded and it opens, but when I click on the icon at the bottom, it comes up with a error:"DenAgent MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"


WHat do yuo guys think is the problem with it now? I believe I downloaded all the correct files.
