I've done the patching, then copied the files into the other paths, and the game keeps telling me that I can only run 1 instance of the client at a time.

i run into that message occassionally and no right now i can not remember under what silly conditions it in accurately, on my part, occurs. I do believe that it typically resolves itself if i reboot the computer and/or start clicking the 'find path' button pior to the 'login' button.

ACDualClient works... you're just not doing something right.

Make sure your Injection settings are all enabled and you have the Dual Client patch enabled. Also make sure you log in the client all the way to the Character Select screen, and click "Find Path" before launching the second (just to make sure).

If it still doesn't work, post an export from Decal so I can see what your configuration looks like.

Slaytanic and TheOtherWhiteMeat, please start separate threads for your problems, even though you have the same issues. When multiple people get on a tech help thread, it can get very confusing. The people trying to help can wind up reading the wrong exports and symptoms, and the people looking for help can wind up taking suggestions intended for other people. Are you two sure that AC-DC supports your operating system?


not sure it runs in/under all and i'm not famaliar with what home service pack 1 and windows 2003 server OS's are, or if D supports those.

i tried to check D's homepage to see if those OS's are supported but i can't quite understand the way they are listed so not sure.


HOWEVER, i did note that it doesn't seem that Decal (which as i'm typing makes total sense) doesn't listed/identify if the VB6 runtime library is installed, since not all Decal plugins require it. BUT, AC-DC does need it i believe, so may want to check if you do. D has the VB6 runtime link to download.
